How do I report a suspicious listing or scam?
Unfortunately, rental and property scams exist online. Common red flags: • Price is significantly below market rate ("too good to be true") • Landlord/seller claims to be abroad and can't show the property • Requests for a wire transfer, gift cards or crypto as a deposit • Pressure to pay immediately without viewing the property • The listing photos appear on multiple other sites with different details If you spot a suspicious listing on SilloSpace: 1. Open the listing. 2. Click the three-dot menu or scroll to the bottom. 3. Select "Report this listing" and choose "Scam or Fraud". 4. Add any details that will help our team investigate. We review all reports within 24 hours. Confirmed fraudulent listings are immediately removed and the account is banned. Never send money or personal documents before meeting in person and verifying the person's identity and legal right to rent/sell the property.

How do I keep my account secure?
Best practices for account security: 1. Use a strong, unique password — at least 12 characters with a mix of letters, numbers and symbols. Never reuse passwords from other sites. 2. Enable Google Sign-In — logging in with Google means there's no password to steal, and Google's 2-factor authentication protects your account. 3. Watch for phishing — we will NEVER ask for your password via email or phone. Any email asking you to "verify" your account by entering your password is a scam. 4. Check your active sessions — Account → Settings → Security → Active Sessions. If you see unfamiliar devices, sign out of them immediately and change your password. 5. Report suspicious activity — if you see messages sent from your account that you didn't write, contact support immediately. 6. Use a secure network — avoid logging in on public Wi-Fi. If you must, use a VPN.
